New. And old, too.

We want you: Project tracking and testing information

As we said below, we are testing a program to allow you (and us) to track your boat project progress on-line. We are considering offering this tool to help DIY boat owners track their own work progress as well. This is a basic project management tool, so some minor knowledge of PM would be helpful but not necessary.

We are looking for a small number of people that are planning involved projects to help us test the system. If you are just starting a project but you have not planned it out yet, or if you are in the middle of your project and your paper plan is just not working out...or if you just want to try something new, please let us know. Send us an email at info@srtmarine.com and please include your name, boat name, and a description of your boat project in as much detail as you'd like. We can't promise we'll accept everyone as a tester, but we'll at least get back to you either way.

thank you.

Fall, 2004

We are testing a natural paint stripper, made from soy. It seems to work well for varnish, and hope to test it on bottom paints soon. The company advertises its products as environmentally safe, natural, non-toxic, and biodegradable. Check back here for more info as it becomes available.

Summer, 2004

We are beta-testing a product to help you track your boat project on-line, via a web-based project and task management system.
